# 3L4S — 3 Lines, 4 Squares

A minimal, strategic pen-and-paper–style board game, reimagined.

## How to play

- Each turn, draw exactly **3 lines** on the grid.

- Lines connect adjacent points — horizontal or vertical only (no diagonals).

- When your line completes the 4th side of a square, you claim that square.

- Connect **4 of your own squares** in a row — horizontally, vertically, or

  diagonally — to win.

Simple rules. Deep tactics. Every line you draw can set up your own win —

or hand your opponent theirs.

## Modes

- **VS AI** — 6 difficulty levels, from Tutorial to Master. The AI actually

  thinks ahead: it avoids handing you free squares, tracks chains, and plays

  toward its own 4-in-a-row.

- **Local 2-Player** — pass and play on the same device.

## Why you might like this

If you enjoy Dots and Boxes, Connect Four, Gomoku, or abstract strategy

games in general, 3L4S blends familiar mechanics into something new: the

box-claiming tension of Dots and Boxes, with the alignment-based win

condition of Connect Four.
